Restrict checkbox on Opportunity - SalesProcesses

Hi All,
We are currently using SLX 7.2 with the original SalesProcess plugin this is my first intended customization.
The problem we are having is that users are not clciking on the hyperlinks to perform their activity steps in the sales process but are merely ticking the complete box and moving on.
This means that no notes/history or activities are created basically negating the whole point of using this part of the system. When i first saw the form on screen i thought the 'Complete' checkbox was a form control i could simply set to readonly or enabled = false but now i see it is not a form but rather a datagrid and the Completed checkbox is actually a boolean field in a table.
So basically, does anyone know of a way i can stop users from being able to tick the Complete checkbox forcing them to have to use the hyperlink to complete the SalesProcess step? |

This is a simple one.
On the OpportunitySalesProcess.ascx, the Completed column (for the Checkbox) is actually a Templated column. Within the ItemTemplate, there is an asp:checkbox control. Just disable it by adding the Enable attribute and setting it to false: enabled="false"

As usual Raul youre a legend. Sorry to be a pain but im not acquainted with the environemtn quite enough yet to know exactly where to find the items youre directing me to. Could you provide a little more direction please.

The Sales Process tab is located on the following files:
SupportFiles/SmartParts/OpportunitySalesProcess/OpportunitySalesProcess.ascx
SupportFiles/SmartParts/OpportunitySalesProcess/OpportunitySalesProcess.ascx.cs
The grid definition is located on the .ascx file, and if you search for the grid you will find it. Once you find the column definition, look for the Completed Checkbox and disable it as I had previously described. |
