Please provide some context: which URL are you referring to?

under attachment, there is an option to add an attachment as a file or url.
i like to modify the plugin for me to add directory path to a file and all a user have to do is double click the path and the file will open
but currently when i add the directory path to the url portion, it opens up a browser and i understand that it is program to do so but i like to set it so that it opens up a file when i add the directory path
