Completing Activity customisation

Hi i have just completed a customisation related to completing an activity. Basically what i have done is added a button called "Complete Activity" to the Activity Details View form so users can view the details of the activity and then click my button to go straight to the Complete Activity form, this was wanted so users dont have to go back to the activities datagrid and then right click to complete.
A problem has now been noticed. When in an Opportunity, and looking at the activities for that opportunity, if you right click one and choose comlete activity everything carrys on as normal - the complete activity screen displays for that activity.
However, if you double click the activity (still while in the opportunity - activities datagrid) and then click my Complete Activity button it displays a box listing all activities currently on the opportunity asking you choose which one to complete (which you have already chosen by double clicking and opening the activity!) rather than doing as the other method does and taking you straight to the Complete Activity form.
Any ideas on why this happens or how to stop it? |

I think have found out why this happens. It appears to be linked to security. When carrying out these events on an opportunity that has activities created by multiple users the pop-up box only displays the activities to complete created by yourself to prevent you completing other users activities (something which is automatically restricted when using the original right cick option). |

However i would still prefer it not to appear when choosing to complete on of your own activites as you should not need to choose one once you have already opened it. |
