					| Hi All, 
 I am using SLX 7.0.1 which is installed on 2003 win server and the database is also on the same server.Till last friday i was able to connect to the client and all other server and adminstrator.
 
 But today morning when i try to login i am getting the following message
 
 Database login failed:Failed to connect to SLXSERVER.Check if the server is running and is compatible with the current provider version.
 
 I have tried following things but still no luck.
 
 1-Restart the services.
 2-Restart the server
 
 Please help me in sloving this issue.

 Ive had this error many times in the past and a reboot or restart of the services normally resolves it. Have you tried deleting and recreating your connections?

					| Make sure that you also restart the SLXSystem.exe (which unless you registered as a Service, it wouldn't be a Service to restart). You may need to kill it via Task Manager.

 I tried all the above work around and was not successful.Then i tried re-installing the slxoledb provider and was successful.
