I need to delete 1000+ attachments (from the tables and disk).  Doing it from the client is difficult as you have to navigate to each account and delete them one by one.  From a script, using the DeleteFileAttachment function deletes the attached file reference from the database and launches a dialog box that provides the option to delete the file from the hard drive.  Is there a way to get around the dialog box?

Do you have remote users? Or, If you have remotes, do you care about the Files being left behind on the Remote User's machine?

If not, you could just use an External VB Script that does the following:

- Deletes the file associated with the Attachment(s)

- Delete the DB Entry associated with the Attachment(s)

Yes, I do have remote users...  I am being asked to have the files deleted from the remotes as well.  It would be a piece of cake if I could leave the files on the remotes; just delete the recods from the attachment table ore delete the files and run the integrity chacker.   - Thanks
