Another issue I'm facing. We have one tab called AUM and the values of this datagrid is either manually updated or by weekly update. From this tab, there's another tab Accounts Group which will be displaying the values.

The issue is in the account groups tab, I'm seeing the values udpated, but I dont know, sometimes, the values are not reflecting in the corresponding tables in the database. Also, when I create groups including the accounts to import the values and export to an excel, the values are taken from database and therefor sometimes old data. I selected all the accounts in the report using List view and refreshed, but  still the values remained un-updated. But when i select accoutn one by one, and refresh it, the values in the tab are updated in the database and therefore in the reports.

Why I need to maunally refresh each account to get the database updated? Also, why I can't refresh taking all the accounts instead of picking it one by one?

Can anyone help on this... or atleast tell me how the tabs are getting refreshed with view refresh and the complete refresh ( ctrl + f5)..

The current tab (only) is being refreshed, along with the middle pane, and detail view. You can deliberately refresh other tabs, including tabs on other main views.....when the opportunity is refreshed, the Account Opportunity grids are refreshed for example.

The other tab are refreshed when you go to the tab.....it fires off an AXFormChange if you have a field or grid databound to the ID field of the base table.....
