If I am not mistaken, the Hotkey you are referring to is associated with the "Insert/Note" menu. (Unless it has been customized).

If it is, you need to Edit the Standard Menu, located the "Insert / Note" item and remove the "Shortcut" value. Once you remove it, it will no longer be associated with this Menu (nor will it show on the Menu itself).

If it has been custoimzed, you will need to search through the Menus to find which one is linked to the "F9" key and then do as described above (remove the Shortcut value).

Hi,

Thanks for your quick reply....

Is that possible to do this just for the particular team rather than disabling altogether? We have two teams here where we wanted to limit this only for the one team and other team should continue to use this as normal.

Thanks!

I've been using SLX since February 1997....and I don't even know what the F9 key does....

The suggestion had to do with disabling the F9 key, not the menu item right?

You can have specific Menu items released to specific Teams through the Plugin objects in the SLX Architect.....one of the menu items could have the F9 key as part of its magic invoke stroke.....other menu items would not

Also, keep in mind that if are using 6.2, any new Menu Items will need to be added to Client Options, on the Plugin Tab under "Menus".
