Hi again.

SLX LAN 7.2.1

I have an excel template (myExcel.xlm) that is on a shared network path (\\myserver\shared folders\excel templates) that I would like to be able to open when the end user clicks on a button. Currently, they have to minimize SalesLogix and go to the shared folder and open the template, it would be nice if they can do it from within SalesLogix since they are always working with SalesLogix.

Thank you in advance!

I was able to figure it out, quite simple actually. Below is the code if anyone is interested:

<p>Dim xl

Set xl = CreateObject("Excel.application")

xl.Application.Workbooks.Open "\\myserver\shared folders\excel templates\myExcel.xltm"

xl.Application.Visible = True
