Hello.

I am new to Sales Logix. We just bought it and I have to modify it so it can be use in Europe in a friendly way.

First of all I have to modify the address pop up so that we are first asked for the country , and depending the selected country to have the region / province list updated in function.

As Sales Logix is a very big software I suppose it is used outside US , so does anyone has a clue if it is existing a pre build address that handles countries ?

In the SalesLogix Architect Go to the Add/Edit Address form....

You can change the Tab Order of each control, and\or the location of the form to have the Country picklist control popup upon form opening....you can also script it.

On the PopupReturn for country you can then change the 'State' picklist control to the correct picklist for each country.....and you would have to create a picklist for each country for their respective subset of Regions\Provinces\States. The script to change to the correct Picklist is the same as is used on the Account Detail form when the user selects a Type, and the SubType picklist is changed based on the type.

Probably some enterprising SLX Developer has this already done for a European Customer.....

I will work with entities so I suppose , one for country and one for Province it will be easier . (anyway I will have a lot more of country dependant field to implement like Title for contact ...)
