Error Accessing DatabaseYour last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

I have designed a form bound to a DB table and there are text fields bound to DB table. I was able to populate valid data in the datafield, and when I hit the save button,I get "Error accessing Database. Failed to parse the SQL"

Please help

Thanks

In the progam files/saleslogix folder you will find a utility called SLXProfiler.exe - run that, attach it to your SLX (press LogoBall) and then re-run your save. When it error, go back to SLXProfiler and look in the error tab - you'll see your malformed query in there and should be able to work out why (paste the same into SQL Studio and it may give you more info as to why it wouldn't work.

I have corrected the issue. For some reason, the underlying table doesn't have the form data even though the SAVE button did't through any error.

Thanks

From the administrator, the user selects which these loggin you (ex:ADMIN), then go to the tab "Client Settings" from the combobox "Debuggin Script", choose "On Error".

Moreover, you need to have installed locally or on the client, the Microsoft "Microsoft Visual C++", you can find it in http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=29

Finally, you SalesLogix and repeat the operation, by clicking the button, you'll see a selection menu windows which will ask you which program you want to make a program bedugg. The rest is up to see the contents of variables and traces presented.

I hope I have helped.

Greetings.

Espero haberte podido ayudar.

Saludos.
