We are on SLX v8.0.  While implementing some moderately complex customizations, I noticed that there are 2 types of forms - TAXForm and TSupportAXForm.  Searching the web for "SupportAXForm" and "TSupportAXForm" didn't bring up anything (so it must not exist, right?)  Currently, all my forms are TAXForm.

What is the difference between these two?

When would I use one vs. the other?

Anything else I should be aware of if I use TSupportAXForm?

Thanks,

Bond

AXForm is the base Active form for all normal entity forms (Accounts, Contacts, Opps etc).

AXSupportForm is the same - but used for the ticket/defect forms. So, no real difference at all - except that they are explitly linked to the entity type (you can't create a ticket form and then use accounts for example).

The T relates to Delphi and is ignorable.

form event AXFormChange doesn't work on a Support Form.....there are a few events like that that you have to change....
