How to set the number of records retrieved when opening a customer recordYour last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

We have a lot of data in our Saleslogix (v8) database and we use the Windows client.  It can be slow when switching between customers and I think it's because the system has to retrieve hundreds of records for the Notes/History tab.  Is there a way to modify the schema to limit the system to only pull the most recent 100 records, but still be able to override that on a per user basis on a temporary basis if someone needed all of the records?

Thanks for the help!

Hi Michael,

You could perhaps customise the Notes/History forms causing issues and default one of the existing filters to be active (checked). This would keep the initial load down but would allow users to change filters if needed to see all records.

Thanks -- I'll look into that.

Still looking for other options if anyone has suggestions.
