In the legacy software when a user sorted a grid by a particular column then selected a second then a third sorting, the grid would just keep adding to the sorting. So if a user sorted by Column C then A then E the grid would be sorted by C, A, E. Then if the user selected D the sort would be D, C, A, E. I can't seem to replicate this functionality especially for an unbound grid. Does anyone have any ideas? When I sort by a particular column, the grid seems to go back to default sorting before applying the new sort. It would be great if I could order the recordset without re-querying the database.

Thanks

Hi David,
As per I concern there is not any functionality in SLX to go back to default sorting before applying the new sort. If you want to go back default sorting you have to close this form and open it again.
