HI,

I am new in SLX developing. I have the following situation and question.

I try to import a history of a foreign system to SLX. I must create the history entries via code. Is this possible via the application object or do i write directly to the database.

I am using VB 2005 .NET 2.0 and the SLX Com Interop.

Thanks in advance.

best regards

Mark

If you want the history dialog to appear then you could use Application.BasicFunctions.CreateCompletedActivity via the COM exposed application object.

However, for an import, you'll want to just write the entry to the history table via a SLX OLEDB Provider connection. Take a look at some existing entries in the history table to get an idea of what the data needs to look like.

Hi Ryan,

Thanks for your response. I have made it via the OLEDB provider.

Regards
