I am sure this is easy for you....
I need to find the way to simulate the clicking of the "RED X" through script to close a form...

Application.BasicFunctions.CloseCurrentView(false)
This basically simulates clicking the cancel button, as clicking the X doesn't necessarily suggest you're OK'ing the action.

CloseCurrentView is a tricky beast because it's parameter is a negative. The boolean parameter is "Cancel", meaning False for OK and True for Cancel. So in the case of clicking the "X", you'd want the same as the cancel action so you'd pass True to CloseCurrentView
Also, you can set the form's modal result which will close the form
ie:
ModalResult = mrCancel (or mrOK)

That teaches me to go from memory. I always forget it's reverse logic.
