Controlling the NavBar item in runtime

fiogf49gjkf0d Hi All,
SalesLogix version 6.2 SP3
We are currently working on automating of the lead entries that have been created on the company's website being imported into SalesLogix. We need a mechanism to notify users every time a new lead imported into database. We have a new main view and obvious thing to do is changing the navbar item properties e.g. icon, text.
But, there doesn't seem to be a way of getting hold of navbar item properties at runtime. I also looked at changing the caption of the main view, but again apparently they can only be modified in design time.
Can anyone suggest a way or know how get to Navbar items in runtime please?
Thanks
Enis

fiogf49gjkf0d Version 7 you can assign NAV bars based on security, so you can release certain nav bars to certain users.. might help.. not run time but close |
