Overflow error

fiogf49gjkf0d I get the following error on an import script:
Overflow: "Cint" at line 814, char 13
That line is:
objAddRS.Fields("T_FDIC").Value = CInt(objRS.Fields("FDIC").Value)
It occurs only after 42 records have been imported, all with FDIC numbers. I checked the FDIC number for record 42 and it is fine, nothing special or unusual. 41 and 43 are ok too.
What I'm doing is converting a text field to numeric. Example, change "00022621" text value to "22621" numeric value.
Thoughts? |

fiogf49gjkf0d An overflow error would indicate you've gone outside the acceptable range for the integer data type. The range for the interger data type in VBScript is -32,768 to 32,767, so if any of your values are larger than 32767 you'll need to use CLng instead of CInt.
