I get the following error on an import script:

Overflow: "Cint" at line 814, char 13

That line is:

objAddRS.Fields("T_FDIC").Value = CInt(objRS.Fields("FDIC").Value)

It occurs only after 42 records have been imported, all with FDIC numbers. I checked the FDIC number for record 42 and it is fine, nothing special or unusual. 41 and 43 are ok too.

What I'm doing is converting a text field to numeric. Example, change "00022621" text value to "22621" numeric value.

Thoughts?

An overflow error would indicate you've gone outside the acceptable range for the integer data type. The range for the interger data type in VBScript is -32,768 to 32,767, so if any of your values are larger than 32767 you'll need to use CLng instead of CInt.
