I created the field as hidden using the Database Manager via Architecht. I thought this would hide the field in the SalesLogix Query Builder, but I was wrong. Is it possible to hide fields from the Query Builder? If so, then how? If not, then why?

Try login in as anyone other then an admin and they should be hidden for query builder as well. I did the same thing until some pointed out that I was an admin and I would see everything no matter what. ML

Brilliant! I was logged in as admin just like you said. The field is hidden from the other users. Thanks!

There are zero security checks on the admin user... You really need to check everything security relatedas a "normal" user.
