Controlling a Managed Form in SLX 7

fiogf49gjkf0d I read the "Controlling a Managed Form" thread with hope since I'm trying to do the same thing. Sadly, the suggestions don't work for me in version 7.
I'm trying to close a manage form only after I can validate data and I'd like to put code in the OK button click event to control the close. Having set the modalresult to mrCustom, I can prevent the form from closing, but I can't find a way to close the form when I want to.
CloseCurrentView doesn't do anything, regardlees of whether I set it to True or False. And setting the modalresult of the button to mrOK inside of the click even doesn't do anything because (I suppose) the button has already been pressed.
Is there a clean way to close the current view? Or, more precisely, what's the cleanest way to close the current view? |

fiogf49gjkf0d To close the form, set the ModalResult of the FORM, not the ModalResult of the button.
ie:
'do this ModalResult = mrOK 'NOT this button1.ModalResult = mrOK
Make sense? |
