Hi, I've built up a customized attachments form completely seperated from the standard attachment form, does anyone know a way of getting files to sync out to remote depending on values within a database because at present I've just got all the attachments on a standard directory, all help appreciated, cheers.

v7 basically did exactly what you're doing. If you upgrade, I'd suggest using or at least basing your changes off SLX's form.

With regards to synchronizing the changes, look for the Application.BasicFunctions.LogSendFileAttachment function in the LAN Developer's reference. It's what I use to send custom attached files out to remotes. To update attachments I would just call the function again, though I believe there might be a specific update function.
