Hello,

Does any one know how to trap an event when a form loses focus ? I want to know when a user either clicks on a new form to make it defalt; and when the form loses focus.

Thanks

Hey, Gus,

Having seen no other reply, I'll attempt to put my rudimentary knowledge around the Saleslogix API to use... Probably you already knew this, and that's why your asking. Sometimes the most obvious solution is the most elusive.

I was going to say that, to the best of my knowledge, there are no events to trap when focus changes on mainviews, though many to trap on when records change, or the type of view changes (list to detail, etc.).

However, I just spotted the OnShow event for mainviews. Why don't you create a global variable that contains the active view name, and set the global to a value that indicates what mainview is chosen, when the OnShow event fires?

Mark
