How to retrieve the current contacts or current accounts

fiogf49gjkf0d Hi,
how to retrieve the current contact ids, or the current account ids in the current view. I can get the current id, but thie is only one. I want to have all.
I want to use this in an external application.

Are you saying you want all ID values from a group or something? What do you mean?
When you say "current contact ids" what are you after? If you're talking about the ID of the contact that the user is looking at then there is only one.
Please explain and I can assist with how to retrieve from an external application. |

thanks for your quick reply and sorry for the misunderstanding.
I mean the contact/account ids in the view labeled "Lookup Result".
Example:
You are in the contact view(with 10000 records) make a search on every contact begins with "A". Then you have only 150 records in the view. And I want that 150 records.
Hope this is clearer.
Background:
I want to create a external search and want to have the function "within current group/lookup". But in this case I need the current IDs.

fiogf49gjkf0d How about using the "Latest Accounts" or "Latest Contacts" groups. Or you can allow the user to create any sort of group using any sort of criteria and then using that group's record set to set the record ID's out to your external app. |
