Hi all.

I would like to get all the fields (except the Last Update field) that appear in the Summary tab in account detail view. I am using v6.2.6

I would like to use these fields for a report I'm working on(Last Call Date, Last Call User, Last Call Regarding, Next Call Date, Next Call User, Next Call Regarding, Last Meet etc.).

Is there a plugin I can look at to see how they obtain the data that appears in the Summary tab?

Also, I see there are different TYPES (for example 262146 is it for last call or next call or does it depend in what table it's in ACTIVITY or HISTORY) where can I get a listing of all the different types?

My advice... don't depend on the summary fields.

I think you may find that you're better off using max(completeddate) on history for the activity type and account you're looking for.

Where can I get a list of what all the TYPES are. All I see are numbers instead of phone, email...etc.

Is the main difference between the ACTIVITY and HISTORY tables, that the ACTIVITY table only holds activities that have not been completed, while the HISTORY table contains all completed activities?

Correct.
They exist as separate tables for historical/performance reasons.
