Contact showing only for admin user
Posted: 13 Apr 07 2:38 PM
Hi, everyone.
I got a very unusual problem (I think), I got a Contact that only show for the admin user.
It goes like that: only the data displayed on de Main View on the form “Contact Details”, is the one that is not showing. The others tabs looks fine.
The funny thing is that the Owner of the contacts is set to Everyone and the AccountManager to the person who create it. One thing to notice is that other contact with the same Owner and AccountManager is shown alright
I don’t know if there is some missing data on the DB that makes this thin to happen.
Hope anyone can help me

Here are a few things to check:
- Who owns the Account? Is it everyone as well?
- Do you have a field from another table on the Contact Detail view that is being loaded from an Inner Join? If so, does it have a matching record on that table.
E.G. If the Contact2 record is missing and it is defined as an inner join t othe Contact it will not load the data.
I understand that it does load for Admin, but it might be as well that the admin release of the view is different than the Everyone release.
