One of my clients has a need to launch a Crystal Report without using any of the SalesLogix environment. We are using a COM plugin that SalesLogix does not like. I would like to pass all of the parameters necessary to generate the report. I have done this to a degree in 8.5 but I am having some difficulty re-creating it in Crystal Reports 11. Has anyone sucessfully done this?

Thanks.

You're basically looking at writing an app that uses Crystal RDC to launch the report, set the connection info, set any needed parameters, etc.

Look at the "Developer Resources" section here:
http://www.businessobjects.com/products/reporting/crystalreports/xiresources.asp

and here:
http://www.businessobjects.com/products/reporting/crystalreports/devresources.asp

The official developer community for Crystal is here:
http://diamond.businessobjects.com/

You'll find the developer library for Crystal XI R2 here:
http://devlibrary.businessobjects.com/BusinessObjectsXIR2/en/devsuite.htm

That should get you started!
