I've seen the Basic Developer's Reference for versions prior to 7.0. Does anyone know if there will be one for 7.0?

Where? Its not listed in the SLX 7.0 list of SDK files. Only the LAN, Web and schema references are listed. The Basic reference is not shown as is for versions prior 7.0.

The Basic Developers Reference was a VB Script reference. It wasn't necessarily a SalesLogix guide. (Notice how there is a 6.2.1 LAN dev guide as well)

As an example, this guide would show you how to use MsgBox to display a message box, including all the parameters you could pass to get the different Icons and Buttons.

Nowadays you are probably ok (or better off) by using MSDN (or your favorite reference site) for a VB guide.

For VBScript syntax & help, that is true. VBScript in SLX is just plain old VBScript. If you want the downloadable official VBScript docs, you can grab them here: http://www.slxdeveloper.com/page.aspx?action=viewarticle&articleid=30
