Is there a way to cancel the users change to a combo box? My application has a combo box that when its value changes it will change information will not be able to be undone. I would like to ask the user if they are sure they want to change the combo boxes value before moving forward. Having the combo box bound to the database can I cancel the update to the database? Or do I need to manually update the database depending on the user decision? Any help will be appreciated.

No way to cancel the update to the database if the control is bound (for that single control only). You'd want to do something like put the original value hidden somewhere so you can change it back when/if needed.
