hi,

after logging into saleslogix application, when i go for exit through standard menu file->exit,

the application gets hang on. it won't move further and i have to go for Task manager to log off the application.

so please tell me the possible solution why this happens.

You may want to check the Outlook sync settings. It may be hanging because it is trying to sync the calendar items when logging out. This sometimes can take a few minutes. Look in the Tools|Options|Outlook Synchronization for the setting "When SalesLogix Closes". If that check box is selected, then this may be the cause of it. There is nothing wrong with this. But, you may want to select the other options instead. You may also want to Alt-tab for an error dialog box. Hope that helps.

This is a common problem if you are running an older version of "Intellisync For SalesLogix", especially the one that came with the base 6.2 install version of SalesLogix.

You can check you current "Intellisync For SalesLogix" version in C:\Program Files\SalesLogix\Intellisync\ or SLXIntellisync. Do a full uninstall of "Intellisync For SalesLogix". Delete the folders C:\Program Files\SalesLogix\Intellisync\ and \SLXIntellisync\. Download and install "Intellisync For SalesLogix" version 6.2.0.1287 or higher from the Sage Support Site. Here is the current version of "Intellisync For SalesLogix", 6.2.0.1639:
