There doesn't seem to be one on the mainview or the form for the tab.

I'm not sure what's happening here... I'm using a .net form and win32 calls to embed it in a tab (basically like you did in one of your .net examples).
It works fine if I resize the tab view or if I change the tab's order (drag it left-right).
If I drag the tab to the middle pane (or another tab to the middle pane so it goes back to the tab pane), the .net form does not overlay the SLX form.
An SLX full refresh fixes it (untill I move the tabs around again).
I've tried manually firing the run method to reassign the HWND value, but it still doesn't work. It's not throwing any errors. The .net app is getting an HWND value from SLX, it's just not the right one...
