On the "Contacts" form in SalesLogix, there is a text input with the label "Works For:".

Any ideas where this data comes from?

Is it a specific table/field?

it doesn't seem to be "CONTACT/ACCOUNT" or "ACCOUNT/ACCOUNT"

"Works for" is not an OOTB field - which means it is a custom one. You'd have to open the form in Architect and look at the properties of that control to see where it is bound to.
