How can I use the activities functionality for a new MainView. Slx 6.2

If you provide a bit more detail about what the main view will be used for, it would be of help. However, as a generalisation, the Activities stuff in 6.2 is mostly hard-coded and therefore unmodifiable.

VERY MUCH hard-coded.... forget customizing activities in v6.2.x .. it changes at 7.0.

BUT in v7.2 (there's a bunch of broken stuff in activities in v7.0/7.0.1) you will bw abe to do some customization. However, the Activityes "view" and calendar" are hard-coded. What you get are "events" that you can build customization around.
