I am just wondering if there are any books regarding SalesLogix Architecture so that i can go through. Because i am really new to this application. I really want to go through the book first to understand the whole concept of SalesLogix and start coding... |

Other than Vednor documents and the developer guides there isn't much floating around..
You can always use a copy of DevLogix. Stephen has done a great job at outlining the development for SalesLogix. |

As RJ mentioned, the DevLogix book is about all there is as far as printed material beyond the provided documentation. Take a look at the home page for this site for a link for DevLogix. |

The DevLogix book is a really good start as previously mentioned. There is no other 'official' book. If you have a good understand of VBScript you are well on your way. Some of the best resources is the help files in Architect. Also, download the Developer's references from the SLX support website. Click the downloads for the version you have (what version is it you have?) and look for the LAN and/or the Web Developer's References.
This site is also a great resource. If you have a question you can't readily resolve, this is a good site to ask.
Something else to think about is taking the SLX developer course. I will be going to the developer training in August so I expect thet will help a lot in my endeavors.
Good Luck! John G. |
