Hi Guys,
How can we import data from a pdf file into SalesLogix.
Can we write any script that can open and read the pdf file if yes then how?
Are there some free API's available for this.

Adobe has APIs for PDFs. How extensive they are and whether they can do what your asking is questionable.

It has always been our experience to use a text file instead of a PDF file. This is more easily manipulated within VB or any other language that has string manipulation. I have a feeling that if you were to do this from a PDF you would be spending alot of time just manipulating the PDF into something usable.

I posted some similar info about using the Adobe APIs to my personal blog a while back. It might at least help get you started. Once you've acquired the page there are many things you can do with it to extract it's data/contents (in my post however, I just copy it as an image to the clipboard - which ins't exactly what you need but I thought the rest of it might help get you going in the right direction).
