Name that event
Posted: 09 Aug 07 2:32 PM
Okay, got my new tab working except ... with its unbound data grid, it doesn't update as you go from account to account in the account details screen. I've been playing around with events to tell it to refresh off of, but so far I can only get it to refresh when the screen loads in the first place and when I hit F5.
What event should I be looking for, or do I need to trigger it from the account details form?
TIA

Use the Form Change event.
However, for the Form Change event to fire, you must have at least one bound control on the Tab.
What I typically do is add at text box, bind it to the Primary Key ID (e.g. AccountID) and then hide it. That ensures that the OnChange and OnValidate event will be triggered.
Then you can add your Refresh code in the Form Change event
