I have a lookup edit on one of my custom detail screens that uses the Product.Identifier lookup (ActualID). The lookup is set up with the following properties:
Search Field: Product.Identifier (ActualID)
ID Field: Product.ProductID
Name Field: Product.Name

My lookup edit on my form is set up with the following properties:
Lookup: Product:Identifier
LookupID: AccountProduct:ProductID
LookupMainTable: Product
LookupRestrictAlways:
LookupRestrictField: Family
LookupRestrictOp: =
LookupRestrictValue: Software
Text: AccountProduct:ProductID>ProductID.Product!ActualID

When I click on the Lookup button on the form within the SalesLogix Client, the correct lookup displays. I click OK and the value displayed in this field is the Product.Name as opposed to the Product.Identifier (ActualID) field value. What am I missing here because I am at a loss?

You need to modify the Lookup's Name Field. This is what is returned by the lookup.
