Hi folks,

I have a lookupedit control that I am restricting based on a field in the lookup (this works fine )
However I would additionally like to have the same lookupedit control restricted on a second field on the lookup.

Its fairly obvious that this cannot be done but I thought I would run a quick check past you guys incase there is some quick cheeky way to do this, otherwise I am off to design my own lookup form for the purpose of this lookup edit

[
Nick crosses fingers and hopes for syntax something like ...

luecontrol.lookuprestrictfield = "Field1,Field2"
luecontrol.lookuprestrictvalue = "value1,value2"

]

Kind Regards

Nick McLean

Hi Nick,
The answer is "Yes!".
Here's a code example where I have a lookup on the Plugin table and I want to restrict the list to Contact Groups:

Sub AXFormCreate(Sender)
lueContactGroup.LookupRestrictField = " FAMILY"
lueContactGroup.LookupRestrictOp = "='Contact' AND USERID=LOCKEDID AND Type="
lueContactGroup.LookupRestrictValue = "8"
End Sub

Hi Rick,

That's just ace - I'm off to put it into practice.

Many Thanks

Nick
