Auto-size control?
Posted: 29 Jan 08 5:01 AM

Hello,
I have a form that has only a single control on it, a TCheckListBox, that I would like to be automatically re-sized to fit the width and height in the client.
Is this a possible from a property change, or do I need to hook into the OnResize event and measure current width etc?
Thanks

Forgot to mention, I'm using 7.2.1, and have tried the following, but the onResize doesn't seem to fire when changing the view around
MsgBox("W:" & Form.Width & " H:" & Form.Height)
Only fires when the form is opened, but not when the main SLX screen-splitters are moved about.
Thanks |

Mark, there's no need to do this - simply set the form property "Align" to "alClient" - will automatically size then to whatever size the user has. |

Of course, I mean the object property (although you can do form as well !) |
