In a SLX 6.2.6 LAN system: When SendSLX is clicked in Outlook, the Complete Email View appears. If the user wants to attach the note to an Opportunity, there's an Opportunity Lookup.

The users want the Opportunity Lookup to sort by data or inoivce number rather than Description. There doesn't seem to be a way to change the sort order of a lookup, but sometimes a different lookup could be used - one based on date or invoice number instead.

But the Complete Email form appears to be hardcoded. Is that the case? Is there another solution here?

It occured to me that the editable Activity Detail form was new in version 7.

Would it be possible to

1) Customize a version 7 Activity Detail form, bundle it (and the Activity Support include script) and install it in version 6.2.6? (I would check for any application.basicfunctions.activity functions.)

2) Can the SendSLX button in 6.2.6 be modified to call the v.7 Activity Detail form instead of the hardcoded 6 version?

1 - NO.. it's tied to the Executables.. just upgrade...

2 - NO .. it's hard code..
