LookupEdit AllowClear Property

Hi,
I recently upgrade to 7.5 and it seems that the allowclear property of the lookups doesn't work anymore.
My Allowclear checkbox in architect is checked

Have been putting an X Box (360) [button] next to the LookupEdit button....click on the X button and blank out the LookupEdit LookupID and Text properties.....
AFAIK this has been broken for awhile..... |
