1. Build the grid columns by hand (see the Ryan Farley articles).

2. On a Varchar field (Account, Opportunity Description, etc.):

3. .Caption = "Disc." or "  Disc."

4. .Width = 36

We're loading the grid by Recordset, don't know if loading the grid by SQL.TEXT will trigger this.

Change the monitor settings on the computer running SLX to 120 DPI.

At Runtime, go to the grid. The Width of the Disc. column is NOT 36, it's based on the Varchar.

I've tried many different widths, only 36 triggers this display anomaly. Not 35 nor 37...and not 18, 24, 40, 60, 80, 100......

I've tried a dozen different captions with a width of 36, only "Disc." or "  Disc." trigger the anomaly. ABCD. , DISC. , Item., D.isc, DXisc., etc.

No idea what is causing this Delphi based control to go beserk.....
