I can run this SP in SQL and it works, but it doesnt ever call form SLX, what am I doing wrong

NstrQ = "EXECUTE SalesLogix.sysdba.UpdateLetterForSLX '"&Application.BasicFunctions.CurrentUserID&"'"
NstrC = "Driver={SQL Server};Server=titan;Database=SalesLogix;Uid=usr

wd=pwd;"
Dim Nconn
Set Nconn = CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")
Nconn.ConnectionString = NstrC
Nconn.Open
Nconn.close

All you're doing is opening and closing a connection. You never execute the line in the NstrQ variable.

Try this simpler approach:

Application.GetNewConnection.Execute "exec UpdateLetterForSLX '" & Application.BasicFunctions.CurrentUserID & "'"

I just noticed that a moment ago and got this to work for me.

Dim NstrQ
Dim NstrC
NstrQ = "SalesLogix.sysdba.UpdateLetterForSLX '"&Application.BasicFunctions.CurrentUserID&"'"
NstrC = "Driver={SQL Server};Server=titan;Database=SalesLogix;Uid=usr

Dim Nconn
Set Nconn = CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")
Nconn.ConnectionString = NstrC
Nconn.Open
Nconn.Execute(NstrQ)
Nconn.close
