When using ADO.Net to add records to SalesLogix, ensure you use the parameter data type System.Data.OleDb.OleDbType.DBTimeStamp for dates. Otherwise, the data will not synchronize. I believe this applies to all versions of 6.2. If you use System.Data.OleDb.OleDbType.Date you will get errors in the event log but the insert will work against the local database. The failure occurs with the synchronization engine as it will not process the transaction.

I should have written "When using ADO.Net to modify data via the SalesLogix OLEDB Provider". Using the correct OleDbType applies to all transactions that change data not just inserts.
