Error when releasing plugin
Posted: 22 Feb 08 4:47 AM

Hello there,
I've got two legacy views that are quite heavily customised (the Account detail and Contact detail). I'm trying to add another edit box to the Account detail view and change one of the settings on the Contact one. I've done the changes fine in Architect, but I cannot release the plugins. I get the following error message in the clients:
An unsual error has occured when executing view: Contacts Contact system administrator 0x1@0: Function view: Contacts Exception Could not load plugin system Contact details. Please make sure it is released
I think this error has already been mentioned somewhere on this forum, but I have not been able to find the post, and no joy in google.
Could someone help me please? Thanks,
Samuel

Sometimes I'll have a defective plugin like this or a control that won't function right for no apparent reason.
The easiest thing to do would be
1) Delete the controls you added/modified and add them again. 2) Delete the version of the plugin you can't release, and start over modifying the currently released version.
Your recent changes don't sound very elaborate, so this shouldn't be a big deal. |

thanks Dan, The thing is, now, I can't release back the first versions. The only plugins I can now release and open fine in the clients are the Active forms. (the out of the box forms) Regards,
