Hi ,

Please Help me in this regard. I need to connect to the intranet Ftp
Address. In the FTP there will be different logins. these ftp Folders will
get modified by external clients. it is very complicated to check all the
user accounts whether they have posted the data or not. so i need to raise a
alert when any of the ftp folder get modified.
FTP Intranet adress will be like ftp://10.1.1.22
In this ftp address there will be around 10 folders. each Folder will be having username and password.
I need to alerted when any of those folder files get updated or a new file added to that folder. Please help in this regard.

If this is not possible in vbscript, let me know the solution in any technology.

Regards,
Nag.

You are going to have to write something that pools the locations and checks to see if there is any new data. You can use the inet control.. see

http://groups.msn.com/windowsscript/othercomobjects.msnw?action=view_list&row=12&viewtype=2&sortstring=

I use TaskCentre to run a workflow (using the built-in ftp "tool") and check to see if the filecount has changed since the last time I looked.. then process accordingly.
