hi friends,
i am trying to convert the legacy basic scripts to customized vb script .
Legacy Basic scripts has slx functions like GetPropertyOf , GlobalInfoSet , CurrentObjectName, CurrentAccountid etc.... This functions work fine with legacy scripts, but throws up the error in customized Vb script. Moreover, how can i view the code for legacy functions.
how can i use them up wisely in customized vb script ? |

Some of these functions are no longer needed, some are implemented with the Application.BasicFunctions
For instance, GetPropertyOf and CurrentObjectName dealt with accessing properties of Controls So, rather than doing GetPropertyOf("txtName", "Text"), now all you do is txtName.Text, similarly, you could do txtName.Name (although that will return a string with "txtName", but it is good to use on a Shared Event handler e.g. Sender.Name
CurrentAccountID, CurrentUserID and GlobalInfoSet can be found under Application.BasicFunctions, although there is an Object to deal with Global Variables. |
