We use version 5.2.3

when I log in as admin to edit an Opportunity form (oppdetail1) and choose to design it....

I get a differnent layout than all of our client screens show.

So, i can not actually edit the one that needs modification.

The layout that opens has fewer fields, and fields in different locations.

Any clue as to what is happening here, is this enough info?

5.2.3 - Good grief!

Probably what's hapenning is you aren't looking at the same version of the Opp Detail form that has been released to the users. Its been too long since I used Admin to advise how to check, but this might point you in the right direction until someone with better memory comes along.

I know.. pretty sad right?

I have discovered the form I want to edit is (was) created by another user who had owership of it.

So, I changed the owner to the Administrator..

Also, the opportunity form that we all see is a plug in.

so.... curious where these forms are stored, and how to switch which one everyone sees by default.
