I need a little help.

We are using version 6.1.2. The Add New Account and Contact is still in legacy code.

I am having trouble setting the Account Owner when a new account/contact is created.

Has anyone set SalesLogix to set the Account owner to a specific team depending on the users team membership ?

I can't say I've ever done what you're asking. But I do want to point out the fact that a user can be a member of multiple teams. How will you figure out which team to assign the owner of an account if the user is a member of 2 or more teams?

We have agreed to use one as a default in the case of a user being a member of 2 or more teams.
