On the Development server, when I login as “Admin” into the Sales Logix client I could able to open the .Net extension from Sales Logix client. When I login as “Non-Admin” User into the Sales Logix Client I could not able to open the .Net extension and I am getting below exception:
System.invalidCastException:Unable to cast object of type 'System.DBNULL' to type 'System.String' at Sage.SalesLogix.NetExtensions.Loader.Initialize(Object SlxApplication)
I followed the specifications mentioned in the http://saleslogixblog.com/rfarley/archive/2007/08/20/37982.aspx form to debug the Application to figure out what’s went wrong, but I could only debug when I login as “Admin”. It’s reporting the above mentioned error, prior calling the Initialize method of the .Net Extension’s form.
On the Testing server, I could able to open the .Net extension and could also able to debug the Application when I login as “Admin” and also as “Non-Admin” users.
Please provide suggestions on this for making all the users to access the .Net extension on the development server as well.
