SLX 7.0.1, SQL 2K

I am interested in creating a report by taking some info from SalesLogix, querying a non SalesLogix database and reporting the results. The report ideally will be able to be exported into both PDF and Excel. Using a .NET form with an embedded Crystal Report Viewer to display the report, I can get the reporting look I need for PDF. When I try to add this as a .NET extension, I am getting an error of:
"Load report failed"

Is it feasible to load a non-SalesLogix Crystal report via a .NET extension and if so, any insight? Thanks!

Guilty of jumping the gun and not finishing up my own diggin...I was able to embed the report into the exe and it is working.

Onto the next issue...
