Embedded a .net user control in Saleslogix 7.2 but user control not visible! Your last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

I have created a c# user control based on the example for embedding a .net user control in Saleslogix.
The user control works as expected if I drop it onto a .net form, however when I try and embed it into Saleslogix all I get is a blank Saleslogix form. I have added a load of debugging into the user control and I can see that all the code is being executed on startup - so I know that is all working.
Has anyone got any ideas on what I am doing wrong?

We are using Saleslogix 7.2 SP2, C# 2008 (built against 2.0 framework)...

As it turns out the code was fine - for some reason Saleslogix got its knickers in a twist with the managed form I had created. I created a new manage form, copied and pasted the code onto it and hey presto!

Also note that depending on what form event you hook to add your user control it also may not show. It seems when there are times when the windows handles are not created for form level controls and the hooking mechinism will actually end up parenting the window to a bad handle.
